Nexus Resort Karambunai

We stayed in Nexus Karambunai during our last night of our family vacation. The huge lobby is impressive in a sense. But the resort resemblance to Damai Puri Resort in Kuching struck me. First, both resorts are located almost the same distance to their respective city airports, which is about 40 minutes away. Both resorts are pretty old. As far as I can remember, I'd been to the beaches in the two resorts at least more than a decade ago. The smiles of the staff are similar. Warm. Courteous.

Nontheless, any resort, with a beach within it, will always makes me feel relaxed...

Kuching Cat Museum

The last time I went to Kuching Cat Museum was around 15 years ago. I went with the Hi-Y Club members of my old secondary school. The place hardly changed. I went there again, with my wife and baby along, on our third day of vacation. There is no entrance fee to the place but RM4 is charged for any camera taken into the museum. I wouldn't suggest the place since it is so far from the city centre. But just for the touristy experience, do have a look at the exhibits.

Mummified Cat. I wonder how much the City Hall paid for it.

One of those phallic like cat. Bad choice of exhibit.
